Mission Statement

The Mission of the State Attorney’s Office for the Second Judicial Circuit is to serve the community through reducing crime and helping to mitigate the catastrophic impact that crime has on victims and offenders, their families, and society as a whole. This includes proactively addressing the causes of criminal behavior, working to achieve justice after a crime has been committed, and using creative strategies to lower recidivism.
